Students are constantly being bombarded with IT in their lives. They come to school as digital natives and we are their immigrants. We need to teach and learn using these tools, as they are using them anyway. We need to guide them through this shift in education, or we will have a group of unmotivated, disengaged youth. TIG has helped me/us achieve a lot in terms of offering a forum to interact with young people from all over the world to share experience and even meet to discus great things. I have made great friends who have ended up changing my perception on many things. I did meet these people on TIG. I share a lot of things, some very personal with people I have never met or even seen, but with whom we really feel compatible. I met these people on TIG.
